[Print-friendly version]

QUT Wireless has recently changed to a new and simple method of accessing the network. The Cisco VPN client is no longer needed if you are running Windows Xwi-fi logoP, Vista or MacOS X.

QUT Wireless provides free access to QUT’s IT services (e.g. QUT Virtual, Email, Blackboard etc.) for staff and students.

A wireless network is a flexible system that provides convenient options (i.e. without the restraints of a network cable and a network port) for accessing QUT’s IT services, using your laptop computer or a PDA.

Please refer to QUT Wireless Coverage section to find out more information about the wireless coverage at QUT.
